HOW GIFT CARDS WORK
Once the gift card feature is active on your account, you are able to add in the monetary value of the gift card according to the card values you want to sell, along with the length of validity of these gift cards. Once set up, guests are able to select the gift card that they would like to purchase on your Inn Style booking calendar (you will need to be connected to one of our payment methods in order to sell gift card).
Guests are then able to redeem these gift cards against any stay at your property as part of your integrated booking journey from Inn Style. Buying Gift Cards couldn’t be any easier with Inn Style’s simple feature.
They can navigate either via your website or, if you set up an eyecatcher, via the booking engine to the Gift Card purchase page. The guest simply needs to input their email address and the amount of the gift card and go on to pay for it. On this page they can also check the balance of any card.
To redeem cards, guests can simply enter their gift card code during the checkout process which will reduce the amount of the booking by the gift card amount. If the total balance is less than the gift card, the remaining balance will remain on the card.
